Access Packages
Create access packages with usernames, passwords, tokens, and sshkeys with or without a passphrase.

The primary access packages screen, at a glance.
+ Add Access Package
Click the [ + Add Access Package ] button at the top.
New Access Packages Modal
The new Access Packages modal will open on the screen.
Add Name
Type in the name of the new Access Packages you are creating.
Description
Type in the description for this Access Packages.
Groups
Choose the group to assign the Access Packages to. If you are only in one group, only that group will show in the list.
Select Access Type
Select which access type you need for your access package.
Variable Examples
When you select an access type, an example variable snippet for your Ansible playbooks appears above the Add / Cancel buttons.
Note: For custom variables, contact your Alphie administrator to have it created..
Relevant Fields
When you select an access type, the relevant fields for that type will appear.
Username Key
If you’re using a Username access key, select the variable naming style you want—(variable)_user or (variable)_username (e.g., db_user or db_username).
Privilege Escalation
If your playbook needs elevated rights, check Use privilege escalation and choose an escalation type.
Add
Click add to finish creating your access package. Then ok.
